# Business details

> Your business profile — the name, services, opening hours and contact details every AI Receptionist works from.

**Business details** is the first tab under **Your business** in the sidebar, and holds your business profile: the core details every AI Receptionist works from. It's built during [setup](/quickstart) and yours to edit any time. The tabs along the top of the page take you to the rest of Your business — [Knowledge](/knowledge/knowledge-library), [Connected apps](/apps/connect-apps) and [Business numbers](/numbers/phone-numbers).

  Every member can read Business details, but only workspace admins can change them. If you have the User role, the fields are greyed out and a line under them says "Only workspace admins can change these details."

## What's in your business profile

The page has one card per section:

* **About your business** — your **Business name**, **Primary sector** and **What your business does**.
* **What you offer** — the services your Receptionist can talk about. Remove anything you don't offer, or select **Add another service**.
* **Opening hours** — one line per day. Type whatever fits, such as "Open 24 hours", "9am – 5:30pm" or "Closed".
* **Details** — **Website**, **Country**, **Time zone**, **Address**, **Business phone** and **Business email**.

Change any field and it saves automatically a moment later; a line under the cards confirms with "All changes saved." You can't leave the **Business name** blank, because every Receptionist introduces itself with it.

## How your Receptionists use it

The profile is live for every AI Receptionist, as the note on the **About your business** card says: *"Every AI Receptionist reads this profile at the start of each call, so a change here reaches them all."* Receptionists don't hold a business name or opening hours of their own — they read them from here — so there's nothing to copy across and nothing to publish. Change your hours here and every Receptionist, whether you [built it with AI](/building/build-with-ai) or from a [template](/building/templates), uses the new hours on its next call.

You can also change the profile without leaving a Receptionist's editor: tell it on the [Train your AI Receptionist](/building/build-with-ai#changing-your-business-profile-from-the-chat) section and it shows you exactly what it will change, then waits for you to agree before saving — because the change reaches every Receptionist at once.
